Many people think working out has to take an hour out of their day. Many people also think they need special trainers or machines to help them work out effectively. 
In reality, trainers and big bulky machines only available in Gyms to help you if you know what you are doing, but there are much easier, working class friendly ways a person can work out effectively without taking ours, using gas, and paying monthly fees.
Such ways include work out videos and even possibly video taping exercise shows that might play once a week or even once a day. Also, the internet can serve as a great way to figure out a work out routine that is best for you. Options by using the internet include joining forums or looking for videos on sites such as youtube.
One thing that is effective and easy are sit ups or crunches. Find a comfortable place on the floor. If you have Tile or even if you have carpet, you might want to lay a towel down or a mat for comfort. Doing 100 crunches a day only takes 10 to 15 minutes tops. 
If you want, you can start at a lower number working your way up. If you're starting at 100, do 25 angled right, 25 angled left, and 50 straight up. If you're working your way up, you might just want to start with straight up and progress to doing side crunches/sit ups.
Another effective way to get in an exercise workout is just plain walking. Walking also saves gas money! It does get boring walking in circles, so try to find somewhere to walk to. Maybe instead of driving, walk to the grocery store, or a location of a place you go to often that is near you. Listen to music while you walk, or invest in audio books.
